PRIVACY
What we collect, and what we do not.
Short version: the scoping questions collect nothing unless you choose to send them, and the forms collect only what you choose to type into them.
The scoping questions
The questions on Scope a project run entirely in your browser. Your answers are held in memory on your own device for as long as the page is open and are gone when you close the tab. No account is created and no email address is requested. They are transmitted only if, at the end, you choose to send them to us with a message through the form described below.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, you decide what to share. The fields are your name, an email address, the area you are interested in, a preferred way of replying, and your message. It is stored in our customer-relationship system as an enquiry, together with your IP address and browser type, which help us spot misuse.
What that information is used for:
- Replying to you, in the way you asked to be contacted.
- Understanding what people are asking for, so the site can answer it better.
What it is not used for:
- Selling, renting or sharing with advertisers or data brokers.
- Building an advertising profile, or enriching your details from other sources.
- Marketing you did not ask for.
Paying by card
On Get access we ask for your name, email, phone number, billing address, optional company name, the service you are paying for and the amount. We keep that with your acceptance of our policies, your IP address, your browser and device type, time zone, language, the page that referred you, and a random device identifier held in your browser. These details let us match your payment, issue invoices and receipts, keep the records the law requires, and prevent fraud.
Card payments are processed by Stripe on a secure checkout page. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our systems.
Who else handles your information
We share information only with the service providers that help us run this site and our business: Cloudflare (hosting and security), our customer-relationship system (enquiry and order records), Stripe (card payments) and our email provider. We share it otherwise only where the law requires it.
Analytics and tracking
This site ships with no third-party analytics, no advertising pixels and no cross-site tracking cookies. Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to that service when the page loads.
Your rights
You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Where we hold nothing, that is the answer you will get.
How long we keep it
No fixed retention period has been set yet. We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply and to manage any work that follows, and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Who is responsible, and how to reach us
Clear Pathways runs this site and is responsible for the information collected through it. Its registered name and postal address are not published here yet, and will be added when they are confirmed. To make a request, use the contact page or email [email protected]. If you are unhappy with how your information was handled, you can also complain to the data protection regulator where you live.
